    I rang flash concreting to obtain a quote for a small carport slab. I was given a rough estimate via phone and said I was happy to proceed with this work even if the quote ended up being a bit more. Was told by the person on the phone that his supervisor would call me back. One week passed and I called again as I hadn't heard back, again I was told that the supervisor forgot to call me and that he would call me back later that day. Three weeks later and no call.

    This appears to be a common problem in Mackay. If you don't want the job don't waste my time and don't quote on it. Business' like this will soon start to suffer with the downturn in mining if they don't lift their game and improve customer service.
